Note To Perez: Leave The Kids Alone

OK, we all know that Britney Spears is more than a little messed up. Personally, I feel kinda sorry for her…she’s obviously battling some serious addictions, but if I had to venture a guess she’s probably also suffering from some sort of mental illness.
I know that sounds like a Captain Obvious-type of observation, but I think we’ve all spent a lot of time attacking her and not enough time acknowledging the how’s and why’s of her current situation. She needs help, and I pray that she gets it before her life comes to a tragic end.
BUT, Britney is also an adult and a celebrity so she has to accept that people are going to critique every little thing she does - especially when she does it all out in the open. Her kids, on the other hand, are adorable and completely innocent in all of this - that’s why it disturbs me to no end to see things like this.
Is this what we’ve come to, really? Making fun of babies?
NOT cool, NOT funny, NOT clever, and NOT a valuable observation.

Well, although that WAS a harsh comparison (especially since Britney’s kids are ADORABLE), but Perez is entitled to his own opinion.
He’s allowed to talk about whatever he wants, however he wants.
It’s his blog…and it was made famous because people liked reading his opinions about the messed up things people did in Hollywood.
Everyone may have their own opinions about him, but I think that’d be a little rash if Much was to stop communicating with him..

To be fair if you’re going to read Perez Hilton you sort of already know what you are getting yourself in to. He’s known for being offensive and if you choose to read it or not is up to you. Not that I agree with everything he writes or says, nor am I condoning anything he says about anybody, but I don’t think anybody should be surprised at the stuff he posts or the extent he will go to get visitors to his sites.

I don’t take issue with the fact that Perez talks about Britney… we all do, and we ALL have opinions about her. And yes, she’s responsible for her own actions and at least partly to blame for her situation (I say partly because I think things have happened to her that are out of her control).
But there is no reason to poke fun at children, who have no control over their situation and were simply born into chaos. From Sarah Silverman calling them “mistakes” (which also was NOT funny) to comparing them to a deformed character from a movie, that kind of stuff hits below the belt for me. I wouldn’t want anyone saying or implying that kind of stuff about my children. I feel so sorry for those kids.

Yes but some parents need to realize that they have ugly kids and they will grow up to be ugly ppl.
