I don’t claim to understand anything about this movie trailer for the movie “Clean” - why Nick Nolte is playing someone HELPING a drug addict, why Metric appear for a couple of frames, performing “Dead Disco” but with absolutely no sound (are they acting in the movie? I don’t get it), why half of the trailer is in English and the other half in French with subtitles, but the inclusion of Brian Eno’s “Ending (An Ascent)” is what reeled me in.

The song may well never appear in the movie but wow does it summon me - listen to the song as you watch the trailer, it’s breathtaking. The last time I saw this song used so effectively was in 28 Days Later - you know, the scene near the end where they’re living in the countryside. Beautiful!
