Now That’s A Show.

Today we were all like, trying to do work when this program punched our nose with its unbelievableness. It was VH1′s Hip-Hop Honours, and if you’re a fan of hip-hop’s history, it’s a freakin’ MUST SEE. Even if you’re a new school fan, you still have to watch this sh*t, cause it’ll be on again.

The show honoured LL Cool J (hott), Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Ice-T, Salt ‘N Pepa, Big Daddy Kane, Biggie and the movie “Boyz N The Hood”. The performances were insane – especially Salt N Pepa with (all four members!) of En Vogue, reunited and performing “Whatta Man” for the first time (with THE ROOTS as back-up band!) – and Big Daddy Kane’s set was just sick. Spectacular. Common, TI and Black Thought performed a medley before Kane hit the stage himself.

When Ciara came out with Nelly to do LL’s “Jingling Baby” and “Doin’ It”, I was like, “Bow Wow can’t handle that”. Seriously, are Ciara and Bow Wow mismatched or what?

Anyway, watch the show. Kane could teach these young’uns a thing or two about a thing or two.

PS: I know that’s a funny pic of LL. But I chose it cause it looks like he’s bustin’ a rhyme. Sorta.
