AAAAAhh the warm weather is almost here, FINALLY. This change in temperature has ignited my spirit and imagination AND it’s also made me think of all the things I love about warm weather and summer. The birds, the flowers, the beach and of course summer style, which for me has almost always included … THE AFRO. I MISS MY AFRO!!!! It has been separated from me for these many weeks and I feel that it must make a comeback in the future.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had fun tossing my hair in the wind (although not violent wind cuz’ well, you know) and flipping it in animated conversation. Also I think it has brought out a more sophisticated side in me. Ok, that last part is ridiculous but I do sometimes feel naked without the trademark curls, SO I thought that just in case anyone out there is also going through their own hair separation we could all lament and rejoice together while celebrating some seriously kick ass hairstyles of the past and present.
