Oh, everybody’s gotta love the getting dumped songs, April. (A note to Team Digital - who said April could play in the blog? I thought this was an exclusive thing… alright, alright, just kidding, she can join.)
Before I say anything else… only 3 more weeks left of Buffy. Want to know what happens in the end? Go here.
Moving on… I know I never shut up about this, but I just have to say it again. I think one of my favourite spots on the web is this! Nothing is as funny or as stupid as cat’s singing and playing the xylophone. Nothing. Even better, I purchased a t-shirt online with a picture of these cats on it. Yeah, I know that’s really stupid of me, but I love it so much. I got it in the mail on Friday, and absolutely think it’s fantastic. I mean, c’mon! They’re cats… and they’re playing instruments and smoking cigarettes! Maybe I’m a simple kind of guy, but it amuses me. But, there is one part of this purchase that makes me feel sort of guilty. Altogether, this 3/4 sleeve baseball style shirt cost me about $50. Yeah, that’s a lot of money. Worth it though? I dunno. Go to the MuchOnDemand message boards and post how much I wasted my money.
Speaking of internet purchase, I always hear how people are afraid to buy something online. And in my past three years of purchasing over the net, I’ve only been burned once. I’ve bought books, CDs, clothes, magazine subscriptions, Revo Stylers, groceries… just about everything. But the one time I purchased the entire My So-Called Life series on DVD, I got screwed. It all started with a small company buying the rights to the TV show, and posting it on their website for sale. People bought it, but the product was delayed numerous times. I had the purchase taken off my credit card, but the DVDs never came in the mail. It’s been about a year now, and since My So-Called Life has now been bought by a bigger, more reputable company, and the DVDs are available just about anywhere, I think I’m outta luck. Sucks to be me.
Anyway, so if you’re gonna do some shopping on the computer, just be careful. That’s my public service announcement for the day.
Shelley, you got any PSAs for us?
