Oh you kids and your hanging out at corporate ad saturated slabs of concrete in the middle of a city that is made almost entirely of… ADS AND CONCRETE! No thanks I say… I like my music like I like my… my… my magazines… ad free!

Unfortunately, I won’t be in town this weekend and thus will be missing out on the fantastic punk wrestling stylings of one Bruiser Brody… however I urge those of you able to attend to do so as you will not be disappointed. No instead I will be heading south to the honeymoon capital of the world to witness the triumphant return of The Legendary Klopeks to the “origin of sleazies”. Opening up for them will be Haddonfield, a local band from Welland (I believe) who are mind blowing! I see great things for these kids… that is if everyone’s common sense returns.

In other news, I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Old School to DVD so I can watch the scenes with the van tearing ass around town over and over and over again! And speaking of tearing ass… I can’t stop listening to the new Deftones! A-1… definitely. I also can’t stop listening to “Master of Puppets” or “…And Justice For All” either after seeing the new Metal-Licka vid for St. Anger. It reminded me a little of when they were metal gods. I have hopes for the new album… but have yet to hear it.

P.s. - I believe I may have figured out where Springfield is!
