It’s actually dangerous
August 12th, 2014
It has been over a week since I came home and I still can’t believe that I won a trip to Osheaga 2014! Friends, fireworks, live music and 3am last calls. Not to mention Montreal eats. Mmm…poutine & smoked meat & bagels. What more could a gal ask for?!
I have been going to the Osheaga Music Festival in Montreal for quite a few years and every year it really keeps getting better. The festival was jam packed with amazing performances from some of the best musicians. My favorites spanned the genres from Haim, Wild Child, Modest Mouse, and Old Crow Medicine Show to Outkast, The Kooks, Cherub, Serena Ryder and Skrillex (who had a wicked lights show).
But do you know what I loved most about Osheaga? All of the happy people who attended the festival. Everyone was there to have a good time. Whether they were dancing up a storm, singing along to all of their favourite songs, enjoying festival foods, or just chilling on the hill or in hammocks with friends, they sure showed it. I also was really in to the art installations, eclectic music offerings and hammocks.
I can’t wait to discover all of the awesomeness that Osheaga has planned for their 10th anniversary in 2015.
Much, thanks again for everything. That was a long weekend that I will never forget!
Until next year!
