One Direction become the new poster boys for Pepsi

Will you buy Pepsi if One Direction tells you to?

The British boy band has signed a deal with the soft drink company to become to latest spokespeople for the brand, following the footsteps of previous celeb spokespeople Britney Spears, Michael Jackson and David Beckham.

The boys filmed a campaign last weekend in New Orleans which also stars a number of American football stars and as a source tells The Sun, “this could catapult them to superstardom.”

“This is a huge deal for them in monetary terms — but even bigger for status as the coverage they’ll get from it is massive.”

Due to strict rules, the boys were instructed to stay mum about the whole deal, refraining from Tweeting about Pepsi or the campaign shoot. Can’t wait to see it!
