One Direction keep band name, American boy band changes theirs

Boy band wonders One Direction ran into some hot water when a U.S. group of the same name threatened legal action, but it seems like the two bands have reached an agreement and One Direction fans can sleep safely knowing that they don’t have to change the names on their t-shirts and posters.

The pop stars will continue using their name while the American all-boy band will officially change their name to Uncharted Shores, as detailed in a news release from both groups. The release also adds that both parties are pleased with the resolution.
