One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has mentioned that the boy band might be ready for “a year apart”…but not any time soon, seeing as they have a new album coming out soon and tour dates stretching into the new year already.

In an interview MTV, the boys joked about members getting married in this hypothetical time off. When asked who out of the five would most likely get hitched first, the boys didn’t have one definitive answer.

Harry Styles nixed himself from the debate, but suggests that the newly-single Liam Payne could be the first to wed. “I think it will be Liam because when he likes someone, he like really likes someone,” Styles said. Liam disagreed, though, and pointed the finger at Zayn who is currently dating Little Mix star Perrie Edwards. He adds, “I reckon Zayb will do it spur of the moment.”

Louis notes that he would like to see Niall be the first. “Imagine we just go away, have a year apart, doing whatever, all doing different things and come back and Niall’s just got married,” he said. “I can see that happening.”

“You know when Niall says things that he doesn’t really mean and he just comes out with them? Imagine him doing that: ‘Will you marry me? S**te! I didn’t mean to ask her that’.”
