Oneohtrix Point Never “I Only Have Eyes For You” (Stream)

The possibilities of what Daniel Lopatin might do with a classic pop song like “I Only Have Eyes For You” under his 0PN alias are endless. And he doesn’t disappoint. Chopping up and dragging out the vocals, pasting them over some epically deep, prog-leaning production that’s as unsettling as it is mesmerizing.

Lopatin came up with the song for Doug Aitken’s “Happening” at the Hirschorn Museum, which takes place tomorrow night in Washington, DC. You can stream it live over at Pitchfork.tv.
