OneRepublic send fans on a scavenger hunt in their latest video for the inspirational track If I Lose Myself. In the video, a group of friends spend the night chasing a skateboarder with a stencil and some spray paint, following the clues he leaves to the location of a secret show OneRepublic is playing. Unfortunately, I don’t think the skateboarder even gets to go to the show. Plus, I feel bad for the two girls who have to spend the night running through the streets while their friends cruise on bikes. Harsh.
Directed by Michael Miller and shot in downtown Los Angeles, OneRepublic’s new video is full of the same positive energy that flows throughout the track. Think Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist meets Thirty Seconds to Mars video for Kings and Queens.
From their upcoming disc Native, due out March 26, check out OneRepublic’s video for If I Lose Myself.
