Drake’s October’s Very Own (OVO) Fest is on this Sunday July 31st and we’ve decided to take a closer look at the festival for you guys. We want to look at which artists are going to be popping up on stage because last year we had Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Eminem, Young Jeezy, Bun B, and Fabolous at the Ampitheatre so we have high hopes for this year. We’re gunna look at all kinds of musical options and rank them by probability – some more probable than others. We also wanted to look at what songs will be performed considering Drake doesn’t even have a second album yet.
So here’s part 1 of RapCity’s OVO: Celebrity RSVP. These are our picks for which celebrities will most likely show up.

1:1 – Drake – Yeah, Drake will be there.

1:1 – The Weeknd – Fresh off his first public (practice) appearance on Sunday July 24th, The Weeknd will be at OVO Fest.

1:1 – Rick Ross – He’s promised to be there, so I’m gunna go ahead and assume he’s going to be there.
- Meek mill – I feel like he goes wherever Rick Ross goes.
- Stalley – Recently signed to MMG so he’s still building hype around his name.
- Pill – Another MMG member that might come along for the ride.
- Ace Hood – Ace is signed to MMG and has an album coming out soon so it’s good promotion.

2:1 – DJ Khaled – The world’s greatest hype man is still promoting his newly released album. Obviously, “I’m On One” is a huge hit and it features Drake, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne.

2:1 – Lil Wayne – Missed last years OVO fest on account that he was incarcerated. But he doesn’t have anything scheduled for the 31st.
- Sidenote: Birdman goes wherever the party is.

2:1 – Lebron James – He and Drake have a bromance and it’s not like Lebron has a game to get to. Maybe this could be his chance to try out other career paths. I’m not knocking his basketball playing or taking a shot at the Heat. But the NBA lock out is pretty solid right now.

3:1 – P. Reign – I feel like he’d be down to open for Drake again. If not, he’ll be backstage.

5:1 – Bow Wow – He’s in Toronto already and he’s part of YMCMB now. Bow Wow also has a mixtape and album coming out soon so the whole weekend is just one big promotion.

8:1 – Justin Bieber – Apparently he’s taking a month off from touring, and working. He also just made a guest appearance at Selena Gomez’s concert. OVO Fest would probably be more fun and he could keep begging Wayne to get on a track with him.

20:1 – Kreayshawn – Drake’s professed “cutie pie”. Drake recently co-signed Kreayshawn – so you never know.
Part 2 tomorrow!
