Palma Violets “Last Of The Summer Wine” (Video)

Every couple months or so, the UK press (finger pointing squarely at the NME) likes to handpick a band that features guitars as “The One Band That Will Save Rock’n'Roll For Us!” The saviours of the moment are Palma Violets, who recently signed to Rough Trade to release their debut double single, “Best Of Friends/Last Of The Summer Wine.” He’re the video for the AA-side, which features rainy weather and Monkees-type frolicking with umbrellas. How quintessentially English!
