Paris Hilton Cleared on Pot Possession in South Africa

Paris Hilton has been cleared after being detained for pot possession in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on Friday. TMZ.com has reported that Hilton was held after police suspected that someone in her entourage was carrying pot at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium where she was watching the quarterfinal match between Brazil and the Netherlands.

Hilton was brought before the courts and questioned but has since been released. TMZ was told that the cops even apologized for the mistake. A representative from her team says that the guilty party admitted guilt, was fined and then released.

Hilton tweeted on Friday, “Everything is fine guys. I had nothing to do with it.”

Someone is getting fired.
