Well, fugly isn’t exactly the word The Black Keys drummer uses, but it’s what he agrees with. Patrick Carney revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine he’s read all comments from fans who tweet or post remarks about how he sucks at the drums, and how ugly he is. But the news of this story aren’t the comments from these so-called fans. It’s the fact Carney agrees with them.

He says “I suck at the drums, so it’s terrifying… Just trying to keep it together. I see a lot of comments on Twitter and stuff about how ugly I am, how bad I am at the drums, how awkward I look, and I’m like, yeah, I agree with most of those things.”

Interestingly, the fact fans think he’s ugly and sucks at playing his instrument AND the fact Carney agrees with them HASN’T affected their performances at all! They’ve got a bunch of sold out shows lined up in London, England in February and are kicking off tours in the U.S. and Canada starting in March.

The band released their seventh album El Camino last month.
