Patrick Watson – Luscious Life

I am kinda sorta in absolute love with Luscious Life by Patrick Watson. I was just YouTubing around for videos and accidentally typed in Patrick WATSON when really I was looking for Patrick WOLF (for some reason I always do this!). Thankfully I did, cause now I have a new current favourite song!

Patrick Watson’s had scads of comparisons to Jeff Buckley (hearts!) and Rufus Wainwright (also from Montreal!), and his album Close To Paradise is on the shortlist for the Polaris Prize – winners will be revealed on September 24. I feel like he has a solid chance of taking home the prize. This song in particular is just so…delectable. Luscious, even!?
