PCD Present: Girlicious Is A-Comin’

I have a confession. Two confessions, actually.
One: I have the Pussy Cat Dolls on my iPod, I have purchased no less than two (2) ringtones, and I watched every episode of The Search For The Next Doll.
Two: I hate the word “Girlicious”.
Despite my annoyance with the term, and the fact that I’ll soon be hearing it an average of once per minute, me and my reality TV show loving ass will totally be tuning in to see the premiere of Pussy Cat Dolls Present: G**lic***s on February 19. I’ve heard through the grapevine that episode one is amaymay and besides, it’ll be the perfect companion piece for Top Model, which starts on February 20.
So the premise is that Robin Antin (creator of PCD) wants to make herself another girly group (cause we all know adding another doll to PCD didn’t really work out as planned), and as you may have guessed, the group will be called … *shudder* .. Girlicious. Dude, pre-naming a group is like the ultimate move in manufacturing, but I guess the personality of the group as a whole is already pre-determined - and they have no shame about the fact that this is a manufactured product. We all know people will eat it up.
The Dolls are once again going to make cameos, but it will be interesting to see how much Nicole is involved. And will we see appearances from any of last year’s faves? Chelsea, mayhaps? Or will they separate themselves from season one altogether?
Based on pictures alone, I have one early favourite: Jamie. The rest of ‘em - well, they’ll have to prove themselves with winning personalities and sangin’ voices!
Oh, and PS: we’re going to be doing weekly recaps for y’all betches - with amusing visuals and accoutrements! They shall be both picturelicious and hilariouslicious.

seriously, i think Melissa R. should have won THE SEARCH FOR THE NEXT DOLL but thats just mi opinion, and if not her, then definetly Chelsea, not asia, but what happened?? after the got Asia, i haven’t heard anything about them!!?? and this new, whatever Robin calls it, is just not gonna be the same compared to SEARCH FOR THE NEXT DOLL!! now THAT show was awsum, but this one looks boring and just not right!! i already don’t like any of the girls on that show, and i haven’t even heard them yet, i’ve only seen pictures!! totally let the girls decide if they want the name to be Girlicious or not, then just let them be… whatev, i’m out!!

Basically, the Dolls are losing their money and their desperately trying to make themselves popular again. Unfortunately, Nicole was like !@#$ this group, i’m going somewhere else and so now their like o !@$! now we have to find another !@$#!@ singer…

‘Girlicious’ sounds cheesy…
PCD itself is a slutty group.
Although I must confess I LOVE their songs.
But this show probably won’t match up to the last series…
It’s obviously they’re making this show because the last series was a huge hit!
They are just doing this for the money.
I give ‘Girlicious’ 1 year before they lose their ‘girlicious’ touch…

Oh i can’t wait for the Girlicious to start! But what everybody including myself keeps on wondering is what happened to Asia and the Pussy Cat Dolls! Personally i think that Jamie should of won the competition! She showed confidence when she went and danced behind the glass, she may have been quiet, but i would of given her more time to blend into the group and bond with them. Chelsea and Melissa .S. were at it with eachother since the first episode. Cat fight!!! But Asia did a very good job in blending in with the pussy cat dolls in the last episode. I wish i was there!!!

i think the name Girlicious i completley terrible. i mean come on.Secoundly i wouldn’t trust this show,since former “winner” Asia didn’t really get much fame(pure bad luck i might add) who’s to say these 3 girls that when the competion won’t get there part of fame……..
stuff can always happen twice.

I would of chose Chelsea forthe next doll.
So what if she couldnt dance as good as aisa
She did her best and every week she got better and better in her dancing.
And her singing voice was amaizing.
Better then all the others.
I dont think Asia should of won.
and if Chelsea did win I woulda chose Mellisa.

I dont know why there even making a new group tho.
They should atleast spend more time working with Asia and writing songs and stuff before doing another group..

I like Asia. I always knew that she was going to win anyways. Her voice are good, maybe a bit forced or whatever, but I still like it. I didn’t like the Melissas.
What ever happens to the PCDs and Asia anyways? Why make another girl group? Girlicious? Ew! What kind of name is that??

Yea. Chelsea is cool, but she still can’t dance. Ok, she can dance a litttle, but that’s it. She’s a quick learner, yea, but still. What will she do if she’s a doll? Stand there and sing? And then sway a bit?

You guys saw the commerical for girlicious, right? The ending, bit? Where one or two girls try to be sexy? By licking a finger and showing it to the camera? Like they were saying ‘hiss’ or something? That was so weak! My God. I was laughing.

I loved Mellisa, she should have won. I hated Asia that stupid thing she did with the microphone just screamed out look at me im a retard. WOW. And Last i heard Asia was being rude to the group so they kicked her off…thank god. But then Nicole left so now the PCD’s are being like totally forgotten…whatever… Last season was so good… MELLISA R. WAS THE BEST!!
I am so excited for tonight its going to be so awesome…but seriously, GIRLICIOUS??? WOW thats such a stupid name…but who really cares right??

Hey I think that Melissa R. or Melissa S. should’ve win. THey were my favourites. I didn’t like Asia. She was so.. idk but I didn’t like her she was bitch and she couldn’t sing. When she tried to sing it was all wrong and messy. Idk if I’m gonna watch “Girlicious” it seems a little bit too…silly? Robin is just trying to make more money. If she needed a girl to remplace Nicole she should’ve take Melissa R and not try to create a new group because the other one is falling down.

is 18 and has a daughter she needs to be there for her, and this whole new thing is dumb, if robin didnt watn asia anymore then why do this whole thing. extremely dumb. so this whole new season better be good with AT least 3 talented girls who can actaully do what they have to.

hey..personaly i think Robin is crazy.. more than half the girls on her new show cant sing but the few that could sing, really amasing at that, got kicked off like charlotte,& Kristin, they were realy amasing and im sure Keshia could sing really good too but they never gave her a chance. and its pretty sad that the girls that were bad stayed
….but does robin evan know the diference between good and bad singers cuzz so far the girls she likes wont make it,

Well, I totally agree Jamie is pure awesomeness. Girlious? ROFL. Like seriously, at least something better.
Since Asia went solo *i think?, She pretty much just ruined it, like, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE MELISSAS D: They’re pretty awesome.
