Pemberton Festival: Metric

Sad news: what ended up being a near three hour drive to Pemberton (for 32 km!!) caused me to miss one of my fave bands of all! Stupid sexy roads. I power walked to the stage and squeezed in through the crowd to catch the last few tunes - “Empty”, “Combat Baby”, “Monster Hospital” and “Live It Out”. Not a bad handful of songs to start your day, huh? Emily looked smokin’ with her shiny blue jumper get-up and Joules, Jimmy and Josh sounded characteristically tight. Since I was late, I didn’t get to shoot in the photo pit (BOO!!!!!) but I did snap like 6 total pics from the audience. They suck. But so does your FACE. Just keeding!
