Pimp Your Sneakers

So, I just about EXPLODED a moment ago while updating RapCity‘s hip-hop listings when I came across a listing for Sneaker Pimps, one of my favourite trip-hop acts, ever, who I was quite coincidentally listening to but one hour ago on my iPod! According to the listing, SP would be making three Canadian pitstops, one in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.

I promptly IMed a dozen of my friends to share the great news before realizing that the chances that RapCity was promoting a late 90s/early 00s trip-hop act would be a bit peculiar.

So I did a little more research and discovered that the actual listing is for THE Sneaker Pimps, a SHOE exhibition that is currently making its way across North America.

Ah, drats. At least Wendy has something to be excited about!
