With only a few days days left until one of the coolest award ceremonies graces our site with its awesomeness, Polaris is giving you fine people a sampler of the ten amazingly-rad musicians on the Polaris 2011 Short List (stream all the albums here)! Today we shine the spotlight on Hey Rosetta!

Who: Hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland, the six piece piece rock/pop band making up Hey Rosetta! can already boast an impressive list of awards after only three albums, including multiple wins at the East Coast Music Awards. After three and a half years since their sophomore album Into Your Lungs (and around in your heart and on through your blood), Hey Rosetta!’s Seeds made big waves this year as one of the Polaris short listed albums for 2011.
