Polaris Shortlisters Chat About Their Chances

The Polaris Music Prize shortlist was announced today and it included an impressive selection of diverse Canadian talent. Some of the notable nominees include 2008 Polaris Prize winner Caribou for Swim, Shad for TSOL and Broken Social Scene for Forgiveness Rock Record. The winner will receive a $20,000 cash prize.
MuchMusic caught up with nominees Owen Pallett, Shad and Polaris founder and executive director Steve Jordan about the list. Check out what they had to say below.
