When you’re an undercover sleuth event photographer such as myself, the party don’t begin when the show ends, no. There’s uploading and editing and so on and so forth and ad nauseam to be finished, so long story short, the geek squad wasn’t ready to hit the MMVA after parties til after 1am.

So I says to myself I says, lemme find my BFFs and we’ll sang some karaoke! *yessss* We leave the ultrahot MMVA afterparty hosted by Hilary Duff and crash karaoke just in time to sing a few tunes. All that sangin’ works up an appetite, so we were like, “yo. Let’s have some 3am snacks at Fran’s.”

Fran’s is a 24 hour chain diner in T.O. where you can always count on getting breffast or burgers or whatever late night grease you desire. We barge in there looking sassy and who’s sitting at a booth near the front? Why, it’s Mister Jay Manuel himself, along with CNTM’s Nole Marin (also previously of ANTM). We settle into our own booth and not 15 minutes later, Andrew, the lead singer of Ten Second Epic, joins us for some poutine. And THEN, Jully Black enters the place for some eats! Apparently we found the secret post MMVA hiding spot?
