Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries win big at Teen Choice

From vampires to werewolves to liars to awkward high schoolers, MUCH shows were the big winners at last night’s Teen Choice Awards. The residents of Rosewood took home an impressive five awards last night, with Ian Harding winning for Choice TV Actor, Lucy Hale winning for Choice TV Actress, Troian Bellisario winning for Choice TV Summer Star, and Janel Parrish for Choice TV Villain. The entire cast of Pretty Little Liars also took home the Teen Choice award for Choice TV Show.

The Vampire Diaries cast also spent a their fair share of time of stage during last night’s awards show, which was hosted by Kevin McHale and Demi Lovato. Not only did the drama take home the award for Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, but Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev both won Choice TV Actor and Actress Fantasy/Sci Fi with Candice Accola and Michael Trevino stealing the awards for Choice TV Female and Male Scene Stealers.

But Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries weren’t the only shows riding high at the Teen Choice Awards. Tyler Posey took home the awards for Choice Summer Male TV Star with Teen Wolf winning Choice Summer TV Show. Awkward.’s Beau Mirchoff took home a surfboard for Choice TV Breakout Star: Male for his role as Matty.
