Pretty Little Liars Ep. 8: Stolen Kisses

Aria finds out more than she bargained for when Ezra’s mom comes to town, Hanna tries to keep Mona in Rosewood, Spencer finds an unexpected ally, and Emily discovers out more information about her dark night. Find out what happened on tonight’s brand new episode of Pretty Little Liars!

On last week’s Pretty Little Liars, Mona gave the girls a clue to finding a website about Maya. Now that they’ve cracked Mona’s code, they need to crack Maya’s password.

Aria’s dad informs her that Meredith, the woman he had an affair with and is now dating, got a job at Rosewood High, where Aria’s mother Ella works. That’s just lovely. From one piece of shocking news to the next, Aria walk into Ezra’s apartment and find his mother, Mrs. Fitzgerald (not Mrs. Fitz) there. There’s a benefit at a museum in town and Diane, Mrs. Fitzgerald, is on the board and invites Aria to the event. Aria is excited, but Ezra is on guard during the entire visit.

Emily and Nate are still hanging out and decide to hike up to the old boat house and reminisce about Maya. They’re sharing nice memories, but the tone quickly changes when Nate admits that he never understood how someone could kill another person until he saw Garrett in the hospital and wanted to kill him. Keep those thoughts to yourself, Nate.

Emily goes to Paige’s house and wants to talk to her about the night Paige was poisoned with Emily’s flask. Paige agrees to speak to Emily the next day. Why do they need an appointment? Can’t they just talk in Paige’s backyard?

Emily finally tracks Paige down while the other girl is out for a run and finds out that Paige figured out she was poisoned by Emily’s flask, just like she figured out that Emily was poisoned the night she showed up at Paige’s house and Alison’s grave was dug up. Wha? Paige just thought Emily was drunk and when Emily kissed Paige, the sober girl didn’t stop her. Emily got a call at 11 and disappeared before they went any further.

Emily decides to forgive Paige and finds Paige at home. The girls kiss and then take a swim. Saucy.

Spencer and Hanna are getting nowhere trying to break into Maya’s site, so Spencer decides to try Plan B and asks Caleb for help.

Back from visiting his mom in California, Caleb has returned with a new car, a new computer, and the same big heart. Once Spencer explains Mona’s poem and Maya’s site, Caleb agrees to help if it means helping Hanna stay safe.

Thankfully, Caleb’s skills work and he’s able to crack Maya’s site. When he and Spencer finally get inside, they find hundreds of videos Maya took not only of herself, but of Emily as well.

Spencer wants to keep digging, but agrees with Hanna and Aria to stop watching the videos until Emily joins them. Essentially, it’s an entire site of creepiness.

After getting the poem from Mona, Hanna is convinced that her former bestie wants to help the girls, so it comes as an even bigger blow when Wren calls and tells her that Mona is being moved to a more secure facility. Her condition is getting worse and the doctors found out that she’s been slipping her medication to one of her visitors.

Wren convinces Hanna to speak to the board on Mona’s behalf and it works! The doctors agree to let Mona stay in Rosewood.

She’s so excited about the news that she kisses Wren! Or he kisses her? Hard to say. There was definitely a kiss. To recap, Spencer is hanging out with Caleb and Hanna is kissing Wren. Shizz is getting sketchy.

Spencer and Aria find Garrett’s file at the Hasting’s house and take pictures before Spencer’s mom catches them.

Looking through the file, they learn that Maya was strangled to death and died in Emily’s backyard the same night that Garrett was arrested. The girls also find a list of witnesses Mrs. Hastings plans on calling to the stand in order to get Garrett acquitted, including someone named Bart.

Aria checks out Bart’s address and finds that he works at the town movie theatre. Aria talks to Bart, who told the police he saw Maya get into Garrett’s police car the night she was murdered.

At the benefit, Aria learns that all the artwork in the Rosewood museum belongs to Ezra’s grandparents. Not only has he not mentioned having rich parents, he also didn’t include rich grandparents. Ezra admits that he doesn’t get along with his family and has been keeping them from Aria, not the other way around.

When Ezra excuses himself to speak to family members, his mother Diane finds Aria and proceeds to rattle off everything bad in Aria’s life. She also points out that Aria has lost Ezra two jobs and is ruining him. Diane finishes their conversation by essentially offering Aria money to leave her son alone. Just curious – how much money are we talking about?
