You’re gonna have to wait until Black Friday to get your hands on the new solo album from Pusha T. The rapper (the other half of rap duo Clipse with brother “Malice“) has already released a solo mixtape titled Fear of God, and is about to release a second mixtape (a re-release of Fear of God with new songs featuring Kanye West and Odd Future) on June 21st. The second mixtape will simply be called Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray.
But his official debut album won’t drop until the biggest shopping weekend in the United States. Black Friday (aptly named for the day most U.S. retailers see their accounting books “back in black” – moving from negative numbers back to positive ones) falls on November 25 this year, so there’s a good chunk of time before we’ll be seeing the solo album on shelves.
The album is still untitled at the moment, but is hyped to feature artists like The Neptunes, Kanye West, Bangladesh, Ryan Leslie and Alex da Kid. Pusha also confirmed a new Clipse album would be coming, but only after the solo albums have successfully dropped.
