- Who will be running Def Jam in the new year? Jay-Z is gone (which shouldn’t have happened, see: Kanye, Rihanna, Ne-Yo currently taking over the world). I think it will end up being another famous face, Jermaine Dupri would be my best bet but I can’t see what he could offer Hip-Hop besides Bow Wow.
- What is going on with Fabolous? Trust me when I say this is not over. When I spoke to him a few months ago he talked about his various run-ins with the Hip-Hop Cops and I think it’s only going to get worse. I hope I’m wrong.
- Will anyone have success in 2008? I don’t know where this will end up. The Kanye and 50 marketing battle was pretty massive, and it barely pushed 50 Cent over 1 million sales in ‘07. Since he’s easily one of the biggest rappers on the planet, it doesn’t bode well for the underdogs.
- Is Snoop’s album going to be awesome or really bad? I vote awesome.
- Can Eminem make a comeback? I wouldn’t put it past Slim Shady.
