R-Patz to sign with Simon Cowell?

Is Simon Cowell trying to sign Robert Pattinson to a record deal?

UK newspaper The Sun is reporting that the American Idol judge has approached the Twilight heartthrob about signing with his Syco label.

R-Patz has expressed interest in pursuing a music career, but a source says he’s hesitant to sign with Cowell, who would certainly want to turn him into a pop star.

Simon isn’t the only one interested in Robert; apparently a bidding war has now begun, which shows Twi-hards aren’t the only ones who are Robsessed.
