Radiohead: Did Anyone Get Tickets?

I’m curious as to the success rate that “real people” had buying tickets to Radiohead’s summer shows in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Montreal did not sell out (I bought a ticket to the general admission show without any trouble a day after the onsale), but Toronto was dead sold out at 10:01. I got precisely ONE ticket and I had a junkload of people trying. I don’t know ANYONE who got a single ticket. Mission failed.
Minutes after tickets sold out, ads started appearing on Craigslist selling at three times the price. Rude. There’s a discussion going on about it over at Stillepost. And a Craigslist rant with email addresses of all the scalpers that were contacted, exposed.
It makes me wonder what percentage of actual fans (as opposed to scalpers, opportunists, and ticketbots) acquired tickets.

I got my Montreal ticket.
No chance that it will sell out. The previous Radiohead shows at Parc Jean-Drapeau sold approx 25 000 out of 70 000 available. Or so i’ve heard.
I’m guessing alot of Torontonians will car it to MTL on August 6.

I’ve seen them before at Parc Jean Drapeau and it’s a lot better than the amphitheatre. For the Toronto show I tried edge and waste presales and failed.

i got tickets!
my brother and i tried the edge presale first but failed. so we got a couple more people to help us on sat. of the 4 of us, only one got them. and the tickets are better than what we would have got with the edge (300 level compared to lawn) -

a friend of mine got two seats RIGHT at 10… not the greatest seats though, but still pretty decent.
