Are you ready for Kanye: The Musical? Well, a group from Sydney University in Australia have assembled such a thing, set to run over three nights in September. Though it hasn’t yet received the Yeezy seal of approval, the synopsis definitely sounds like this needs to come to Broadway stat: “In the beginning there was man and from man came Kanye. From humble beginnings writing beats for Jay-Z to the top of the pops remixing Daft Punk. But did you ever wonder how Kanye got to where he is? This is a story of a struggle against the man to become the man. It’s about a guy who took a shot at the throne and didn’t miss. This is the tale of Kanye.” Yes please. (Via Facebook)

Remember that really weak beef between Kid Cudi and Wale, which climaxed when the former called the latter “simple-ass rapper” in response to a pseudo-diss? Well, they’ve kissed and made up (over nothing), and now the two have collaborated on a track called “Focused,” which set for Wale’s sophomore album, Ambition (due November 1st). (Via Prefix)

If you’re itching for a sequel to Hype Williams’ 1998 gangster flick Belly, well, the ball is in DMX’s corner, according to co-star Nas. While promoting his Rock the Bells performance, Mr. Jones said he’s waiting to hear back from Mr. Simmons about whether there’s any interest. “I gotta say shout out to my man DMX. Tonight, Snoop will send out a message on Twitter for his fans to RT to break the unofficial record held by RUN-DMC’s Reverend Run. The period will begin at 12:00 AM tonight and run until 12:00 AM Wednesday. “Hitting four million Twizzles is a big moment for me and I want to thank all my fans for their continued support.
