Bob Dylan’s grandson, Pablo Dylan, is working on a rap career. Pablo is only 15 years-old but he’s already released a mixtape entitled ’10 Minutes’. Pablo wants to develop a career independent from his grandfather but still recognizes that he’s a big influence on his music. Pablo says, “of course we do two different things, and I don’t want people to see me for what he has done. But, what I have done, I mean from a musical and personal standpoint, is definitely influenced by him.” Read more at XXL.
Cee-Lo kept his promise and returned to Goodie Mob to make and album. He stated previously that once ‘Lady Killer’ was completed he would start work with his old group members. Cee-Loo took to his twitter to celebrate the completion of the album tweeting, “Its official NEW GOODIE MOB ALBUM “WE SELL DRUGS TOO!” this fall!!!! Expect nothing more then the same thang! 50 Cent is as much a businessman as he is a rapper. Recently 50 Cent signed on to release a comic book adaptation of ‘The 50th Law’ with SmartComics. The 50th Law is a book on strategy, written by 50 Cent and Robert Greene. CEO of SmarterComics, Franco Arda says, “this powerful book is both entertaining and educational, a perfect fit the growing young adult book market, graphic novels in general and last but not least eBook reading.” Read more at Long Island Press.
Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre co-sign Jay Rock. Both of the rap veterans support ‘Follow Me Home’. Apparently Jay Rock will have some involvement with Detox and Dre goes on to say that, “this sh*t’s hard. Jay Rock, Watts up! That’s what’s up. This what we’re doing, representing everything L.A., ni&&a. Jay Rock’s coming. Look out for him. Go buy that ni&&a’s sh*t. It’s coming out. It’s hot.
