RapCity P.M. News Round Up: Cee-Lo Doesn’t like Kanye’s & Jay-z’s “Otis”

Cee-Lo Green wasn’t Kanye and Jay-Z’s biggest fan after the release of “Otis” yesterday. He says,“I didn’t love it. You know what? I think it did what it’s supposed to do. It’s supposed to come across like a trailer to it,” We liked the trailer. Read more at HipHopDX.

A lot of people worry that Kreayshawn won’t have a hit like “Gucci Gucci” again. Other people worry that DMX won’t fully recover from his stint in prison and make great music. DMX plans to get his career back on track and apparently the answer to his problem is a new reality show called ‘X-Tended Family.” DMX plans to take the show from New York to California as he unites his 10 children from an undisclosed amount of baby mamas. Drake’s album has been confirmed for an October 24th release date. Even after the hit songs he has released, none of them are from his album. This morning it was revealed that a single from ‘Take Care’ is called “Headlines” and it is produced by Noah “40” Shebib and Matthew “Boi 1da” Samuels. This evening we have reports that some of the tentative songs off the album are titled “Shot For Me”, “Free Spirit”, and “The Real Her”, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross are featured on the last two. However, Drake goes on to says, “I hate singles. With this album, I want to tell a whole story. I don’t want people to just hear a piece and judge the album on that.” Furthermore, Drake has said in the past that he would like to collaborate with Jamie XX, DJ Premier, Florence Welch and, of course, Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd.
