RapCity P.M. News Round Up: Kreayshawn Starting To Feel Bullied?

Kreayshawn took to her Tumblr to vent her frustration with the music industry. In her blog entry entitled “I Am Mad” she says, “this game is fake as all hell!” She complains about being called racist and having pre-teen nude photos leaked on twitter. All that and he beef with Rick Ross is probably too much to stomach. Ironically, many of her blog readers “liked” her entry. Read more at Rap-Up.

Curren$y broke his ankle trying to jump into the crowd at Rock The Bells in San Bernadino, CA. Apparently the break was so bad he needs surgery to fix it. Get well soon! Watch Curren$y break his ankle at The Smoking Section.

Tyler, The Creator insists he didn’t mean to curse during his acceptance speech at MTV VMAs – he was just excited. He also recalls about the night that everyone seemed to be too cool but that Drake and Justin Bieber seemed fun. Tyler also told Billboard that he’s not big on collaborations but if Justin Bieber wanted to do a song it’d be pretty cool. Read more at Billboard.

French Montana talks to XXL about Rick Ross asking him to join Maybach Music Group. Montana is currently signed to Mizay Entertainment, which is run by Waka Flocka’s mother. He tells XXL, “He [Rick Ross] asked me to join MMG, so I’m definitely entertaining the idea. I definitely got a lot of respect for his movement, you know what I’m saying?  [However] right now, I’m just trying to figure out everything with myself, with my own entity, and my own movement.” Read more at XXL.

Phonte appreciates Drake dedicating his BMI award to him but thinks the biggest compliment would be finishing a verse on one of this beats. Phonte tells The Source

To my knowledge, it’s not happening. We’ve made contact with each other but all of my attempts to make something real happen have led to a dead end. I saw that he dedicated his BMI award to me and while that was a very noble and thoughtful gesture, I’d much rather he had dedicated himself to finishing a verse for one of me and 9th’s songs. That, to me, seems like a more tangible way of showing gratitude. But with that said, I’m still a fan and I think he’s an incredibly talented artist. When ‘Take Care’ drops, he’s got my money.
