Watch Sunday, April 13
Miley, Charlie and more!
February 4th, 2014
It looks like the Bronco’s weren’t the only ones not fully committed to their performance during Sunday’s Super Bowl. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming under fire for not having their instruments plugged in during their half time performance, which occurred during the most-watched television event in history. Say it ain’t so!
We’ll give the Chili Peppers the benefit of the doubt and say the band was playing air guitar as a result of the cold temperatures. Then again, it was warm enough for lead singer Anthony Keidis to rock out shirtless, so what the deal? The Chili Peppers performed their 1991 break out song Give It Away Now during Sunday’s show and we can’t help but think that 1991 would be pissed to know one of their own didn’t play live.
Whitney and Michael are avoiding eye contact with RHCP.
The Terminator doesn’t understand humans and their inability to plug in instruments.
Mariah Carey didn’t win all these Grammy’s by not singing live.
Ice Cube is mad, but in all fairness, Ice Cube is always mad.
The staff at the Beast’s mansion can’t believe they waited years for this.
Don’t let Arsenio Hall’s smile fool you. He’s pissed.
Prince at the MTV Awards is having none of the Chili Peppers playing along to a track.
Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze are fighting mad.
1991 Janet Jackson is very sad about the Chili Peppers.
