Red Hot Chili Peppers named as performers for the MTV EMAs

After announcing Selena Gomez as the host of the 2011 MTV EMAs the big names keep coming. The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been confirmed as the first performers for the award show, going down in Belfast on Sunday, November 6.

You can watch the entire show live on www.mtvema.ca starting at 3 pm ET on Sunday, November 6. For the first time in the history of the MTV EMAs the award show will be taking place in three locations with the Belfast Odyssey Arena serving as the main location.

This year the nominee list is led by Katy Perry with six nominations and Bruno Mars with four nominations, followed by Adele, Justin Bieber and Thirty Seconds To Mars who all have three nominations to their name.
