The jewelry stores were buzzin over the holidays with some big ticket rings being purchased for Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Natalie Portman managed to pull a fast one over the paparazzi by keeping her relationship and pregnancy with Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied a secret. On Monday the actress announced that the two would be marrying in 2011 and that she is also pregnant with their first child.

Reese Witherspoon seems to have bounced back quite quickly after ending her three year relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. The actress soon began dating talent agent Jim Toth and the two announced over the holidays that they are now engaged. This is the second marriage for Reese, who was previously married to Ryan Phillippe. The couple share two children, Ava and Deacon. Witherspoon and Phillippe also got engaged in December. Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself!

Lastly, British singer Lily Allen has some good news to end 2010 with after a rough year. Following a tragic miscarriage, Allen and longtime boyfriend Sam Cooper became engaged over the holidays. The couple have said that they will try again for a child.

Other notable engagements over the holidays include 84 year-old Hugh Hefner and 24 year-old Playmate Crystal Harris and Eddie Cibrian and Leann Rimes.
