Remember the neighbourhood you grew up in? In case you didn’t, Arcade Fire want to give you a rush of nostalgia with their new video.
For the song “We Used To Wait” (taken from their latest album The Suburbs), the Montreal band has teamed up with a visionary named Chris Milk, who has designed a video for the song that creates a personalized experience using Google Street View and the address of your childhood home (or any place, really).
The project is titled The Wilderness Downtown and once you enter your address, the video will take a few seconds, minutes or hours to load. Once it does though, a bunch of different windows pop up that include footage of a hoodie-sportin’ teen running around, which then triggers views of your street to pop up.
Check it out yourself by clicking here.
