I’d officially like to commend Fetus on one of the best blogs of all-time. However, let it be known that I don’t go flipping the bird at random - each one-finger salute is cleverly calculated and reserved only for people I like.

You might already know that today marks the 10-year anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. George has been busting’ ass putting together this special. If you’re a fan of music, of any kind, make the time to tune in tonight.

I remember the first time I heard Nirvana was listening to ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ on my friend’s walkman before school one day. We debated whether in fact the title was a reference to the Teen Spirit deodorant that I used at the time. From then on I was introduced to other bands in the ‘grunge’ scene and proceeded to tape all of the albums from my older sister (the money I made on my paper route wasn’t enough to buy the real thing.)

And to think, the year before I had gone to a Vanilla Ice concert. For real.
