Remix-it-up for the Holiday

I am one of those people who can not listen to holiday music constantly for the sake of my own sanity. It’s overly cheery, or overly repetitive, and everyone knows the words (which does not mean you SHOULD sing them…) So, while purposely attempting to stray from the holiday norm, I have selected two remixes that make me happy. Happy early Christmas-Hanukkah-Chrismukkah from me to you. Enjoy!
Miike Snow – Animal (Parks Jump Remix)
A feel good addition to the jamPod. I just can’t help it…I can not listen to this song without shaking my leg or tapping my foot, or drumming my fingers! Miike Snow’s self-titled album is rather brilliant. I highly recommend you check it out. They start their first headline tour in January 2010 and Canada is lucky enough to have a couple hits on the list!
Pursuit of Happiness – Kid Cudi ft MGMT & Ratatat (Steve Aoki Dance Remix)
I am not particularly into dance music, however it’s a clever mix and such a catchy song! May these brighten your holiday playlists!!!
