What has the world come to when we can’t follow another person on Twitter without someone else making a big deal about it? But when that “another person” is Chris Brown, and the follower is ex-girlfriend-because-he-beat-me Rihanna, is the “big deal” worth it?
Fans noticed that Chris Brown started following Rihanna on Saturday, and she did likewise soon after. Wondering what this was all about, one fan tweeted Rihanna asking if this was about making amends or even getting back together.
Rihanna responded quickly with this: “its f—in twitter, not the alter [sic]! calm down.”
After the fan immediately apologized (apparently she was only a 14-year-old girl!) Rihanna quickly tweeted her own apology too:
“Babygirl I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt or offend u! Just needed to make it clear to the Navy [Rihanna's fans' nickname]…xoxo“.
She also started to follow the fan on Twitter as well.
Rihanna recently agreed to relax the restraining order on Chris Brown which prevented him from contacting or harassing her and staying at least 50 feet away from her following his admitted beating of RiRi prior to the 2009 Grammy Awards.
Chris Brown was recently in the news earlier this year after having a temper tantrum on the set of Good Morning America, throwing a chair through a window.
What do you think? Is following Chris Brown a good move or bad move for Rihanna?Tweet
