Rihanna on Chris Brown: “I think he was the love of my life”

The much-anticipated Oprah special featuring Rihanna aired this past weekend and we’ve gathered even more information about the pop star’s relationship with ex Chris Brown.

In the interview, Rihanna tells Oprah that she’s still very much in love with Brown, but the two are not dating. “We’ve been working on our friendship again,” she tells Oprah. “We’re very, very close friends. We built a trust again and that’s it. We love each other and we probably always will.”

“It’s not easy,” she continues, explaining how hard it is when she sees him nowadays. “My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me.”

When asked if Brown was a true love of hers, Rihanna replies, “Absolutely. I think he was the love of my life.”
