Rihanna releases Diamonds cover and date

Rihanna is getting set to release her new single Diamonds this Wednesday and has already given fans a sneak peek at the album’s artwork. Always one looking to shock audiences, the single’s cover shows a woman’s hands rolling a cigarette filled with diamonds, with Rihanna’s signature ‘R’ on the bottom right corner of the cover.

Diamonds will be the first single from Rihanna’s upcoming seventh album, which is rumoured to be released later this year. Rihanna’s Hate That I Love You collaborator Ne-Yo recently told RapUp.com that in addition to working on his new album R.E.D. (not to be confused with Taylor Swift’s Red), he has also worked with Rihanna on two new songs that will appear on her upcoming album.
