Rita Ora is setting herself up to be the next big thing in pop music, first with her hard edged collaboration with Tinie Tempah in R.I.P. and now with the fun loving and poppy dance track How We Do (Party). Produced by The Runners, How We Do (Party) is part of Ora’s debut US album. The Roc Nation artist enlisted music video director Marc Klasfeld to create the perfect party video for her video, complete with dancing parrots and light sabres.
The video will definitely keep the Rihanna comparisons coming with Ora sporting a number of colourful and revealing Rihanna-esque looks. Ora pays homage to some of music’s greats in the track, referencing Tanqueray in the lyrics for How We Do (Party), a type of alcohol that Amy Winehouse sang about in her break out single You Know I’m No Good, as well as sampling Notorious B.I.G.’s Party and Bullshit on her track.
