Robert Pattinson Takes a Leap Outside of Vampires (*gasp*)

Towards the end of last week, the trailer for Robert Pattinson’s new movie, Remember Me, was released online (and also attached to the slew of previews before New Moon).

This is Rob’s next major North American film role outside of the Twilight Saga, and I have to say that it looks like a pretty cute indie-type film (and to my relief, he actually gets to smile in this movie – but still broods a lot) – you know, the kind that delivers the warm, fuzzy messages about living each day to the fullest, that sort of thing. Sigh.

I don’t know, friends – do you think that R.Pattz will be able to break out of his Cullen role? I’m interested in seeing his range as an actor, because what he can do post-Twilight will really determine his success in the film industry.
