Rock, Paper, Scissors, Axe, Fire…Cockroach?

rps25.gifCall my upbringing sheltered, but I’ve actually never engaged in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. I mean, even the concept of juggling three items and keeping of which item trumps which confuses me – I prefer a good ol’ coin toss. RPS has its aficionados – there is even a World RPS Society with an official strategy guide, tournaments and everything.

This guy has devised a complex matrix of 25 items in addition to Rock, Paper and Scissors that can knock one another out in the same way that RPS can. Take a look at the diagram and tell me your brain doesn’t start to hurt. If it does, this outcomes chart explains what’s what.
