Russell Brand Doesn’t Want Any Money From Katy Perry Divorce

Well whadya know, Russell Brand’s entitled to $20 million of Katy Perry’s money, but doesn’t want to take a dime. The two icons split up in December, but filed for divorce yesterday. The divorce will be official on June 20, due to a six month waiting period.

According to TMZ, the two didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement after getting married in October 2010, and since Perry earned an estimated $44 million over the last year, Brand is technically entitled to half of that. However, as a source says, “This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person).”

You don’t see that very often.
