Sarah: Concerning The Loo

Maybe I’ve been spending too much time in public rest rooms or maybe Britney has just finally gotten in there but I’ve been thinking about bathrooms a lot lately.

I have equally intense measures of insecurity and vanity so I spend quite a lot of time in bathrooms generally and I’ve always really liked them. I love singing in the shower, writing messages on the mirror in lipstick, applying makeup and easing my regular psychotic cleaning fits so the b-room has always been high on my list of favorites.

Sadly my opinion of this chosen room has gone down hill. It’s you people. Us people. The idea of sharing bathroom/stall/sink/toilet with other strange body parts is traumatic enough as it is, but I’ve now given up on my comfort and perhaps my bladder in the face of bacteria … specifically that shared revolving hand-dry cloth contraption thing.

WHY DOES THAT EVEN EXIST? WHY WON’T IT GO AWAY.

In these times of woe I like to turn my accusations and hatred inward to look for inner strength and zen instead of cursing loudly and causing very negative experiences for people around me. After all when you point ONE finger (though soiled in may be) at someone else aren’t you actually pointing THREE at yourself. (try it, you’ll see)

I’m done now, I apologize for infecting you.

And I leave you with my own zen bathroom bits to help, Britney in the Bathroom and the bathroom at CBGB …hottness.
