Don’t be afraid to touch, smell and groove your musical moments…
I am obviously a vintage girl and I would be so bold to say that I sometimes think that I’ve been born in the wrong decade. Sometimes things seem too harsh, too fast and too neatly packaged …lacking human touch now and then?
And I’m not just talking about interpersonal relations and social states.

Although I aways appreciated Betty and Veronica, my true favorite (and rarely seen) character of Archie comics was always Melody. Everything she thought or said came out in a tune and was covered with music notes. Ok I’m a dreamer, and I believe she was most popular in the seventies but the point is, the music moves us, visually as well.
Take our electronic preoccupation with music. Leaving completely aside the fact that many of us don’t even buy records anymore, the truth is that we’ve seem to have lost our interest in our appreciation of music as the artistic vision and presentation they once were. Music as a movement capturing a moment, captivating for minds and eyes as much as they scintillate our ears.
Like I said I’m a dreamer, and perhaps I’ve taken it too far but in that flat on your back in a summer’s day staring at the shapes made by moving clouds kind of way, the whole experience feels richer.
