I have very large feet which is probably why I constantly bad mouth them. I’m trying to get over myself, but as I’m sure you can relate it’s difficult. Nonetheless it’s tough to deny how crucial feet are from day to day. Without them how would we stand tall … or short? How would we move about from location to location? Run? Skip? Complete a cartwheel and most importantly achieve balance?
If you love, are thankful of and respect your feet, it seems only natural to treat them to obsessive decoration like many women and men. SHOES. I like them more than most foods and better even than a few people but how do YOU feel? Do you feel like you can’t live without that special pair? Do you collect them? Would you rather buy a coveted design than eat in moments of hunger?
If you answered yes to the majority of my questions you need Nduer in your life. The Parisian born turned Toronto based graphic artist will change your tired soles into something new to live through dreams with. Since he moved to Toronto merely months ago his oil-painted stilletos and pumps have been flying off shelves in kensington market (rage) and ordered online in unimaginable amounts.
Unfortunately Ndeur swears he doesn’t have a female foot fetish (boo) and also doesn’t mind having his beautiful original designs completely destroyed after nights of partying at the mercy of stylish, sexy, well dressed feet everywhere (Yey!). Yours should be next!! Afterall… heels were made for walking too…
PS: Here’s a blog entry about me interviewing Ndeur…
