I’m not sure how true this is, but I just had to scrape my jaw up off ma desk, so I think it’s worth mentioning. ANYHOODS, as you may know, Hilary Duff has been cast as Bonnie in the new Bonnie and Clyde flick, a role originally portrayed by Faye Dunaway. When Duns heard about the casting, she asked, “couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?” (Duns 1; Duff 0).
But then, and here’s the part that makes me all like, WHOA - apparently Hils shot back with this statement, according to E!:
“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know… I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.”
Um. Duff has grown some SASS BALLS, dude!! (Duns 1; Duff 10). Is that really necessary?! Do you think she really said that, word for word? The sources I’ve read say “she told E!”, but I need to see video, or hear Hils own up to it before I truly believe it. Jeez. Dufflet’s got way more bark than I thought. Keeping my eye on this one.
Edit: IT’S TRUE. Thanks to Khizer!

I’m glad tho, Faye’s comment was so immature and rude. What if Duff actually looked up to her for inspriation for the role!?
